Feeling the struggles of language learners firsthand, Gavin Dove, Ara Ghougassian, Yaniv Silberman, and Olga Sanchís embarked on a mission to make language learning a seamless part of people's daily lives. We took a leap of faith and in the spring of 2020, at the start of a global pandemic, decided to go all in.

The team has been hard at work improving and iterating on the product ever since. Over 2 billion people try to learn a new language every single day. As many as 90% of these learners will fail. The current state of things is nowhere near good enough. We won't stop until every single learner around the world has the tools they need to become fluent.
